Counter-notice

Effective date: 2026-10-20. Use this if material of yours was removed or disabled on SHOXA and you believe that was a mistake.

What happens next

We pass a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material, typically within 10 to 14 business days, unless they tell us they have started a court action to stop you publishing it. This is guidance on how we normally work, not a promise about timing.

I state under penalty of perjury that I have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material.I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or, if my address is outside the United States, the judicial district in which SHOXA may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or an agent of that person.
